This wonderful Nataraja Ganesha Dancing W/ Flute - Lord of Beginnings & Remover of Obstacle is cast by hand with the lost wax method in bronze, has developed a nice green verdigris patina. Dancing upon a Lotus cushion, he has 6 arms each holding one of his attributes - his broken tusk, a sweetmeat, a rope to hold his devotees on a spiritual path and a mace.
Ganesh dancing signifies the perpetual cycle of creation and destruction known as samsara, which represents the universe that humans long to escape from.
This wonderful work created by talented Indonesian craftspeople will look wonderful on our altar or gracing sacred space.

We have worked directly with Balinese artist and crafts people since 1988. During Maine's freezing cold winters we return to Bali and our island home. While there we collaborate with the Balinese (mostly family & friends) and create special offerings for our shop. Thus in turn keeping the arts alive in ever evolving fast changing Bali in the world of globalization, while enriching the lives of our family & friends whom we work with by creating a market for the beautiful art of Bali.
