Based upon an antique Bali Folk Art style handcrafted from albesia wood especially for Acadia World Traders by talented Balinese artisans. Hand painted in the traditional style in antique distressed white with red, blue, green, muted gold & black accents.
Mask made in this style are guardians or protectors and are often found over doors or windows to keep demons from enter a home or scared place.

We have worked directly with Balinese artist and crafts people since 1988. During Maine's freezing cold winters we return to Bali and our island home. While there we collaborate with the Balinese (mostly family & friends) and create special offerings for our shop.
