Balinese Dowry box hand carved & painted in traditional Balinese style, they are not so easy so find any longer. We are fortunate to work with a family of wood carvers who still make these classic Balinese style offering boxes for us! The hinged lid is embellished with two birds catching a fish that form the handle. The sides of the box are carved with Balinese style lotus flowers and fish. The basic color is black & vibrant green with teal blues and reds. Highlighted gold leaf.
