The left lower hand is holding sacred scripts and upper hand is holding the axe. The base of the sculpture is a pile of lotus leaves & unopened lotus flowers. Ganesha's vahana the mouse is sitting by his feet.

We have worked directly with Balinese artist and crafts people since 1988. During Maine's freezing cold winters we return to Bali and our island home. While there we collaborate with the Balinese (mostly family & friends) and create special offerings for our shop.
