Ganesha son of Shiva is a favorite in Bali. This Ganesha is in a reclining position with a big pot-belly. The reclining position symbolizes having achieved Nirvana or enlightenment. I have several of these, each statue may be slightly different coloration due to the hand made nature and natural patina caused by weathering of the material. They are all equally beautiful.
